Trust Me Always

Morning ladies,

I Wrote this for my church girls a while ago and its funny as I was going back through old stuff having a browse this made me laugh – God really knows what to bring back to the surface at the right time.  So today I’m sharing this with you guys too, as its really relevant for me this week so I’d say we all need it! (I’m not the only one out there with this issue….or am I…don’t burst my bubble, surely I’m not going round the mountain again……….

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3 v 5-6

I love it when I get confirmation on what to wrote about but its even bester when we get an acronym too ( I Love acronyms by the way!!)

Sometimes I look for subjects to write on and ask God to give me new subjects but I think its important to go over the fundamental ones again with new material so as not to forget whats important.

Trusting in the Lord is a choice we make everyday, I trust him for the small things but on the larger important life changing choices I tend to as we all do sometimes, lean on my own understanding first to try and work things out!! This, when you look at it is a bit topsy turvy, surely we should be trusting for the larger choices first and foremost but usually we don’t.

“Christianity is not a behaviour transformation, it’s a heart transformation” Christine Caine

Choices are a heart workout but if we remember to TRUST in GOD with all our HEART then the choices are backed up by our Father and we can move on with our journey knowing that we have Gods love in our hearts.

I loved a word I heard from Ps Steve King a while ago,  it was so REAL to today and I love leaving Church on a Sunday armed with life tools to carry me through the week. I would love us all this week to use Steves Acronym as we make decisions and choices in our everyday life nth big or small its great to lean into God first and foremost and seek His guidance, have faith in Him and Trust in Him.

T – Talk to God, pray, ask him for what you need, Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds;
and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Mat 7v7-8
R – Rest in Him, Rest in Him, be still and he will give you strength Galatians 6v9

U – Understand, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3v5-6

S – Speak the Words of God – For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. John 3v34

T – Thank Him in all that you do – Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100v4
Trust in him ladies and have a fantabulous week!!
