Morning lovely ladies,

Well, I had quite an average week to say the least, I watched the enemy at work in many ways and it wasn’t pretty. I watched as the movie Fifty shades of Grey divided women all over the world, women who would normally encourage, edify and love each suddenly turned posts all over Facebook into heated fights of rights and wrongs (not just our FB page!) I watched as a family got torn apart from the strategic workings of the devil himself.

I turned to God for reasoning and some encouragement in the craziness of the week and he gave me a Lighthouse! Strange I thought but as I delved deeper it was perfect!

Lighthouses were made to help ships in the night. They are warning lights in the darkness to guide ships around rocks and cliff edges to safety. When everything is dark its a lighthouse that shines its one light over that darkness as protection.

Through the darkest of darkness, Gods love will always shine, he is our lighthouse, he will guide us in the darkness past the rocks and the cliff edges to safer waters.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

We are lighthouses too. We can shine Gods light through us in the darkest of situations and help bring peace to people who feel they are in the darkest of waters. Just by living our day to day life through Jesus we are shining a brilliant and bright light to people.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5 14-16

Be that shining light this week, be someones lighthouse.

Love ya all, have an amazing week shining your light x

Heres the song that wouldn’t leave my head either LOL – enjoy

Love L x
