When our heart is transformed no matter what our outward appearance may be we exude beauty. I love this!
We all hate parts of our body! Yes all of us! I hate my teeth, just saying! Oh and my arms what’s with that! But then I thought about a sermon I heard a while ago how baking powder on its own is yuk and flour well just plain old boring white stuff but if you team them with some butter an egg and a splash of vanilla essence, you get the most delightful cake! The ingredients on their own are nothing! Same with us, my teeth aren’t that great but team them with my frizzy locks and my bouncy personality and a heart for Jesus well it’s alright actually it’s beautiful!!! You have to agree just saying!!!
Since giving my heart to Jesus almost 4 years ago, I have grown in so many ways, but one area of growth sticks out the most and that’s my confidence in and through Him!
God is constantly asking us to be confident in not only ourselves but in Him too, confident in His plans for us, confident in the work He can do through us, by just having faith as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20) you have confidence in Him and all He can do for you. Trusting Him with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6) is confidence in His direction. Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)
Once we have Godfidence we walk taller, reach higher, smile longer, give more and LOVE freely!
Have you got confidence in God and His plans for you and through you?
